Changing the ownership of your account

If you currently have a Vodafone Contract, or are a non-contract Month to Month Customer, a change of ownership allows you to transfer an account in your name to another person. Change of Ownership is not available to Prepaid Customers unless the number is moving from Prepaid to a Business Cap or Enterprise Choice account.

The registered outgoing account holder can call 1555, a free call from a Vodafone mobile within Australia, or 1300 650 410. Once the conditions have been accepted by the outgoing account holder and the details of the new incoming account holder have been provided, the new incoming account holder needs to complete the process in a Vodafone store to confirm their account details, accept the Network Agreement and complete the transfer.
