Can I use my mobile whilst I'm overseas?

Answer

Vodafone Traveller™ and Vodafone World™ let you use your mobile in over 270 countries just as you do at home. You can make and receive calls, use data, use your voicemail and send and receive TXT messages in most countries. In many countries you can also use data based services such as Vodafone Mobile Internet/ Broadband, Mobile Email, and Vodafone live! If you have a Blackberry or Vodafone Mobile Internet/ Broadband, you can also send and receive email and access the web1.

You can check your roaming status by logging into My Vodafone or contacting Vodafone on 1555 from your Vodafone mobile2 at least three business days (72 hours) prior to leaving Australia.

To opt-in to Vodafone Traveller™  when already overseas, the change can be requested by:

  • Go to My Vodafone then My Account where you will be able to perform the below:
    • Activate/Deactivate and View Global Roaming settings
