Changing your Voicemail security code

Answer

You will be asked to set a Voicemail security code when you first set up Voicemail. To change this security code:

From your mobile

1. Dial 121 (standard call charges apply)

2. From the main menu, press 3 for Personal Preferences

3. Press 2 to change your security code preferences

4. Follow the voice prompts to change your security code

From another phone

1. Dial

2. Press * to access your own Voicemail

3. Enter your mobile number then press #

4. Enter your current security code then press #

5. Your messages will be played.

6. After all messages are played, you'll automatically enter the Main Menu

7. Select option 3 for personal preferences

8. Select option 2 for security code preferences

9. Select option 1 to change your security code

10. Enter your new security code (between 4-10 digits long), then press #

11. Your new code is played back

12. If your satisfied with the new code press 1.

13. If you want to change the new code press 2

Note: You won't be able to suppress the security code from another phone. If you have forgotten your Voicemail security code submit a request to reset the code back to the default of 3333 via Contact Us. Be sure to have included your mobile number and enquiry PIN prior to submitting your request online.
