Vodafone Contract Cap Information
If you’d love the latest mobile for free or at a big discount, and you’re happy to stick with us for 6, 12 or 24 months, check out our Caps on Contract. The below refers to Vodafone Caps (available from 4th May 2009) and Vodafone Unlimited Contract Caps (available from 24th March 2009).

Only one Bonus Pack can be added at any one time. Customers may change their Bonus Pack up to 4 times per year free of charge (the 12 months is from the time of connection to the Contract).  More than 4 changes per year will incur a $10+ GST charge per additional change.  Bonus Packs are valid for the term of the Vodafone Contract. Credit awarded with the Bonus Packs will be subject to a one month expiry period.

The Add Ons available to the 12 month only Contract Cap are:

Connect to a Contract at any Vodafone store or selected dealer stores

Identification Requirements for New or Existing Individual and Sole Trader Accounts
ID requirements vary between new and existing customers, see below.

New Customer:
You need to be 18 years of age or over to join Vodafone on Contract and provide 100 points of ID (with at least 1 photo form of Primary Identification).

Existing Customer:
You need to provide at least one form of primary ID and the Customer Account PIN for the existing account.

Acceptable forms of identification are:

60 Points – Primary Identification:
Australian Drivers License (Government Issued with photo)
New Zealand Drivers License (Government Issued with photo)
Gaming / Casino License with photo
Australian or New Zealand Passport
Australian Police Identification with photo
Armed Forces Service Identification with photo
Australian Learners Permit (Government Issued)
Foreign Passport with current Visa
Visa Evidence Card with photo
Document for travel to Australia with photo
Boating License with photo
Shooters / Firearms License with photo
Blind Citizens Australia Identity Card with photo

Unacceptable Identification:
The following forms of Identification are amongst those considered unacceptable for Individual and Sole Trader accounts:

Any identification that has expired
Photocopies of Identification
Residential Tenancy Agreements
NRMA Membership Cards
Club cards (i.e. RSL, Leagues clubs etc)
Store cards (i.e. David Jones, Myer, Cash Converters, Sports girl, etc)
Student Identification /Registration Cards
Housing Commission/Rent Assistance Cards or Passbooks
Work Identification (except Police/Defence Force) / Contract License
Business Cards
Bank ATM or EFTPOS receipts
Pay Slips / Advice
Group Certificates
Private Health Scheme Cards
Centrelink Confirmation of Concession Card Entitlement
Library Cards

Once you've picked the Vodafone Plan for you, simply visit a Vodafone store.
