How can I prevent people from seeing my phone number when I call?
You can prevent people from seeing your phone number in three ways: De-activate Outgoing Caller ID through My Vodafone online service. Click here to log into My Vodafone, click on My Phone and click Call Options. Select ’Not active’ ‘Outgoing Caller ID’ option from the drop down list box and click Save Changes. Add 1831 in front of the number you wish to call. Eg. 18310414xxxxxx.
You will need to have your Own Number Sending option set to "Set by Network" on your mobile. If you have Own Number Sending turned On, putting 1831 in front of the number will NOT work.
