Recharging with an Extras Credit works the same as a normal Vodafone recharge. When selecting a recharge amount, Extras will be presented as a separate option.
You can top-up your main Prepaid Recharge Offer and Extras credit on the same call if you register a credit card. To register call 1555 from your Vodafone mobile within Australia or visit http://www.vodafone.com.au.
The easiest way to recharge is by registering a credit card with Vodafone. This way, you can recharge or top-up at any time, no matter where you are by:
- Selecting ‘My Account’ from the Vodafone menu on your compatible mobile, or
- Calling 1511 from your mobile, or
- Visiting My Vodafone web site then selecting ‘My Account’, or
- If you own a Vodafone live! mobile, by hitting the Vodafone live! button and selecting ‘My Vodafone’.
You will be asked to confirm the last four digits of the credit card. A recharge confirmation TXT will be sent to you within 15 mins.
Accepted credit cards
The following cards are accepted: Australian Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Please note: International Visa and MasterCard’s (other than New Zealand) can not be registered by Prepaid customers. International Visa and MasterCard’s already registered previously are fine.

Important
- Prepaid Extras will not expire as long as your Vodafone Prepaid main account remains connected to the Vodafone network and within its current recharge period.
- In order to use an Extras your main Prepaid account credit must not have expired ie must be within the current recharge period.
- You can recharge with a Prepaid Extras at any time while your main Prepaid account credit has not expired.
- The recharge will add to your existing Prepaid account balance i.e. – You have $3 remaining in your Extras and you recharge with $12, you will have an Extras Credit balance of $15.
