How do I register my credit card to recharge my Prepaid account or Prepaid MBB?

Recharging your Prepaid account (excludes Prepaid Mobile Broadband)

You’ll need to register your credit card before you can use it to recharge your Prepaid account.

Register your credit card by one of three simple methods:

By Phone:

  • Dial 1555 from a Vodafone Mobile or 1300 650 410 from any other phone. 

On your Handset:

  • Select My account – Pay account - Prepaid from the Vodafone menu on your compatible mobile then register your credit card

Online:

Register and/or login at My Vodafone to register a credit card to enable you to recharge via credit card.

  • Log into My Vodafone
  • Select 'My Account' and then 'Credit Card Details'
  • Enter your credit card details including your name as it appears on your credit card*, credit card number, credit card validation number† and credit card type^
  • Read and accept the terms and conditions, check the I am the owner of the credit card box if you are the owner and hit the 'Submit' button

* If you wish to register a credit card that is in a different name to this account, you will have to register it at a Vodafone retail outlet. Click here to find your nearest store.

Auto Recharge using your Credit Card

Recharge using the Auto Recharge service within My Vodafone. Auto Recharge allows prepaid customers to:

  • Nominate a day to recharge your account and once a month your account will be recharged with an amount of your choice. This is perfect if you need to keep to a set budget.
  • Nominate an amount of your choice and when your balance runs low it will automatically be recharged. This is perfect if you don't want to be caught without credit.

Set up Auto Recharge by:

  • Register and/or login to My Vodafone
  • Select 'My Account'
  • If you haven't already registered a credit card, click on 'credit card details' and register your credit card details. Remember to click 'Submit' to save your changes.
  • If you have already registered a credit card, click on 'Auto Recharge'
  • Select your preferred recharge option (The options are to recharge on a particular day of month, when your credit reaches a low limit or a particular number of days - 30 or 60 day intervals).
  • Once you have selected your preferred recharge option, choose one of the relevant parameters from the 'select one' drop down menu.
  • Select the start date of when you wish to Auto Recharge to start automatically recharging your account.
  • Complete the other options available including recharge amount, notification options, and confirm the last four digits of your credit card.
  • Click 'Submit' and your request to set up Auto Recharge will be processed.

How do I cancel Auto Recharge?

To cancel Auto Recharge, simply follow the instructions below:

  • Login to My Vodafone
  • Select 'My Account'
  • Select 'Auto Recharge'
  • Click on the 'Cancel Auto Recharge’ button.
  • Click on 'Submit' to save your changes.
  • Remember to log out of My Vodafone once you have finished by clicking 'Log Off'.

 

† The Credit Card Validation Number (CCV) is a three or four digit number usually found on the back of your credit card.

The CCV code on American Express cards is on the front of the card.

~ A pre-authorisation payment of $1 will be charged to your credit card and then automatically refunded to your Credit Card within 3-5 working days.

^We accept Australian Visa, MasterCard and American Express and Diners.

Please Note: You can register your Australian MasterCard, Visa Card and American Express. To further enhance your security, limits apply with credit card recharges. You can register a maximum of five credit cards per 12 months, and make one amendment per 30 days to your details using My Account.

 

Recharging your Prepaid Mobile Broadband

You can recharge online here which can be accessed directly from the dashboard. (Direct access from dashboard not available to Mac users)

Register your credit card and recharge or Recharge without pre- registering your credit card at www.broadband.vodafone.com.au/manage

We accept Visa Credit Card, Visa Debit Card and MasterCard. International credit cards and handy debit cards are not accepted.

When you recharge online using a credit card you get 10% more data. E.g. recharge online using a credit card, pay $19 and get 550MB rather than 500MB.

Customers can always get to the online recharge site even if they are out of data!

For Prepaid Mobile Broadband assistance, please call 126722 from a Vodafone mobile or 1300 500 222 from another line (standard call charges apply within Australia).

Recharge is possible on balances below 15GB
