Register your credit card with Vodafone. Once registered you can recharge on the go in the following ways:
Select My Account, then Pay Account, then Prepay from the Vodafone menu on your compatible mobile. Select the option to either Register a Credit Card or Recharge (once you've registered a credit card). Standard International Roaming Rates Rates apply.
Call 1555 from your mobile to register your credit card. Once registered you can dial 1511 (free) to make a recharge (in supported roaming countries only).
Register and/or login at My Vodafone then select My Account. Select the option to either register a credit card (click on credit card details) or Recharge (once you've already registered a credit card) by clicking on 'Recharge Now'. You can also set up automatic recharge options using the Auto Recharge service. You can set up an automatic recharge on a certain date of month, or when your credit is low. Just click on the 'Auto Recharge' link to set up automatic recharge options.
If you have a Vodafone live! mobile, select the Vodafone live! menu, then My Vodafone, then My Account Balances and Recharge My Account.
Accepted credit cards: The following Australian cards are accepted: Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
Please note: From 20/09/07 you can no longer recharge on any NEW international credit cards, excluding NZ.
If you have an existing international credit card being used, this will remain on our records and will continue to work.
If you do NOT have an international credit card being used for recharging your account, and attempt to use an international credit card, our systems will not accept this type of card.
The following table contains useful short dial numbers that allow you to check your balance and recharge while roaming (although these short codes may not be available in all countries).
