How do I activate/de-activate Outgoing Caller ID?

You can activate/de-activate Outgoing Caller ID in the following ways;

1. Click here to log into My Vodafone.

  • My Phone Setup menu
  • Select Change Your Phone settings
  • Select the "Outgoing Caller ID" status options from the drop down box and choose your preferred option.
  • Click "Save Changes".

Note: Your Caller ID is also controlled by your mobile handset settings. You need to make sure your handset is set to reflect your preferred caller ID status.

2. To activate Outgoing Caller ID from your mobile, go to Settings, Call Settings, Own Number Sending and select "On".

Note: these instructions may differ on the handset model. Please refer to your phone manual or manufacturer for further information.

3. To deactivate your Caller ID for individual calls, simply type #31# before the number (for e.g. #31#0414141414).

The following apply:

Outgoing Caller ID will not function when dialling internationally or receiving an international call.

Your mobile number will appear as the sender number when sending TXT (sms) messages. This function cannot be de-activated.
