Activating and de-activating your Voicemail diversions

Answer

You can activate/de-activate diversions to your Voicemail in the following ways:

Online at My Vodafone

  • Register and/or login at My Vodafone
  • Navigate to 'My Phone Setup' menu (middle of screen) and select 'Diversions'
  • To activate a diversion, select your diversion preference
  • To deactivate a diversion select No Diversions
  • Save your changes

Using Vodafone short dial codes (this method isn't available whilst overseas)

Divert calls on no answer, when unreachable or on another call.

  • To activate these diversions, call 1211 from your mobile

Divert all calls to Voicemail

  • To activate an all calls diversion, call 1212 from your mobile
  • To de-activate this diversion, call 1213 from your mobile

Deactivate Diversions

  • To de-activate dial 1210

Voicemail Notification

You can choose to be alerted of new Voicemail messages in either of the following ways:

TXT Alert

You'll receive a TXT for each new Voicemail message advising you to call 121 to listen to your message

  • To activate TXT alert, dial 1218 (free call from your mobile)
  • Standard call rates apply when calling 121

Ring Alert

You'll receive an incoming call for each new Voicemail message and once answered your messages will be automatically played back to you

  • To activate dial 1219 (free call from your mobile)
  • There are no charges associated with Ring Alert and Deliver

Note: To switch between TXT Alert and Ring Alert simply dial the activation short dial code as per the above instructions.
