Problems with sending a Premium TXT message
If you are trying to send a TXT message to a premium service number e.g. 19xxxx, for third party services such as ring tones, competitions etc. and find you are unable to, please take note of the following:

  • Premium TXT messaging is not included with the Prepaid Flexi Caps
  • A warning TXT is sent to you when you attempt to send a Premium TXT message

Adding an Extra's will allow access to Premium TXT.

Insufficient Credit
If you have a Prepaid account and can't send TXT messages it may be due to a TXT bar that has been placed on your phone due to insufficient credit.

If the credit balance of your Prepaid account drops below the 28c, a TXT bar is automatically placed. This will prevent you from sending TXT messages until you have recharged your account (note: delays may occur with automatic removal of TXT Bar). You can check your account balance at anytime for free by dialling 1512 from your mobile phone.
